Hit a Walk Off Home Run Today
This week I want you to do one simple thing.
Hit the walk off home run....just like in the big leagues. To be more precise I want you to walk into a referral source and walk out with a referral. Not a referral that they've already called you about, but one you generate with your sales skills. I call that the "walk off home run" referral.
When you do this your self confidence will soar. You'll do it once, and then realize could have been doing it all the time. In order to do that you'll need to make sure of a few things:
Your accounts are properly qualified. You know that you are in places that have enough referrals that they could be making or planning one on any given day.
You have a reason for being there that helps them understand your value.
You ask them to make a referral to you while you are there.
That's it...simple. Effective. If you've done it before, do it again. If you've never done it, do it now. You'll very quickly learn if you are in the right kind of referral sources by pursuing this achievement.
