Monday Marketing Must Do #34

New & Noteworthy!!

That's right, our Advanced Behavioral Sales Training in Coconut Creek, FL is THIS WEEK on July 19th. If you're good, I'll show you the 5 things you're doing that prevent you from being GREAT! There is still time to register. Satisfaction guaranteed or your MONEY BACK!!

That's right, we are fully transitioned over to our new Momentum 20 Selling Strategy effective this week! We're working with a client in FL to teach them the strategy that gets more referrals than anything else in the industry! YOU can learn it too, via our 10 Week Home Care Accelerator Webinar Program. The next 10 week class begins on August 22nd. Register today and find out if your State Homecare Association has partnered with us for an exclusive discount!

We've been asked many times "Michael, I'm ready to sell my agency. Do you know of any buyers?". Right now we have several interested buyers of all types of home care agencies. We are not a business broker, we simply make confidential matches and introductions between potential buyers and sellers. Whether you're looking to buy or sell, drop me an email so we can discuss.

Now...onto The Monday Marketing Must Do.

Monday 8am: Read this newsletter

Monday 8:30am: Go Long!

Did you hear that? That little sigh? That was your competition giving up, even if just for awhile.

Over the past few weeks I've heard it all. "All of my facilities say their census is down", "The other agencies aren't getting any referrals either", and "Everyone is on vacation".

That's the sign of someone who has given up. Bad for them, good for you. NOW is the time for you to redouble your sales efforts because your competitors are sitting in Starbucks, staying cool for an extra few minutes in the car, and knocking off early to jump into the pool. Why shouldn't they since "nobody is getting any referrals this time of year"?

If you've ever waited for some of those important doors to be opened for you, this is it. Don't let the lies above fool YOU into sipping a Frappuccino every day for hours. STAY out there, keep selling. There MIGHT be less referrals at this time of year (there's not, by the way), but there is DEFINITELY less competition in the field. Take advantage of them taking it easy and stock up your agency with quality referrals.

By the way, I spent 5 years as Biz Dev VP for a large home care company. Our two best referral months ever were in (wait for it....) August of 2004 and 2005. Best. Ever.

Why? I didn't let my sales reps buy into the BS that I'm hearing now. You shouldn't either.

Stay busy, and stay thirsty my friends....

Good Selling!
